If there are two places in Istanbul where you could spend hours winding down multiple pathways never to find your way back, it is Taksim and the Grand Bazaar. Every time I visit Istiklal Street in Taksim I want to venture down all the side streets and discover the little shops and hidden gems. And every time I visit the Grand Bazaar I am bound to get lost continuing down a never ending pathway. I am convinced you need more than a lifetime to search every little corner of these two spots.
