Took advantage of my Friday off and left Htown for The Big Apple. I've missed this city so much. It was so special to be there with my sister. We hit up all the fleas, bookstores, coffee shops, and bakeries we could. I could seriously spend the rest of my life in this city with my sister, conquering every street corner and taking in everything the city has to offer. Saturday was by far my favorite day. We headed out early for Brooklyn/Williamsburg and started the day off right at Blue Bottle Coffee. We sat on the bench in the sun and planned our day to check out Artists and Fleas, Smorgasbord, and the Brooklyn Brewery. We fell in love with Bedford Avenue and lucked out on some free cake & gifts at Catbird, a jewelry shop celebrating their anniversary. I can't wait to go back and check out this area even more and keep discovering new spots in NYC.
